Hyundai Telematics

1_4 Hyundai Telematics has announced to introduce their latest DMB navigation device ‘T10’ in Korean market that features a digital camera and KBS TPEG service in real time. This latest device sports ‘SK Rousen 1.5 version map’ software, the T10 adopted Samsung’s 7-inch 16700000-color TFT-LCD, touch sensor button on the front frame and 2640mAh built-in lithium polymer battery.

Leica Reload

6_2 I already told you about the over priced Leica M8 digicams. Well, the company has now released a firmware update, which they claim to solve the problem of M8’s high sensitivity to infrared light. Initially, Leica offered UV/IR filter for all lenses to sort out the problem but that led to the tribulations with the color cast of wide-angle lenses from 16-35mm. The new firmware upgrade is claimed to address this  problem.

Casio EXILIM

4_2 Casio has launched a new Waterproof Digital Camera that will enable you to shoot pictures underwater. The gear is compatible with Casio Exilim EX-Z65 and EX-Z75. It is not ment to be for divers as the device remains waterproof till the depth of 10 feet. On the plus side the gear also protects your camera from sand so you can also use it on the beach! No word yet on the price and availability of this device.

Tekom GX652 Digital Camera

2_2 Tekom has shown a GPS digital camera named GX652 at CeBIT. The device proudly boast: • 6 Megapixel Camera
• 4.8X Optical Zoom
• 3-Inch TFT LCD display
MPEG-4 Video Recording in VGA quality at 30fps.
The camera can be connected to a GX1 GPS receiver and then the screen can be used to view all the maps that you receive from a dozen channels within five seconds.

Hitachi DZH500A

Hitachi Hitachi have excellent features but the picture quality it's kinda poor and a kinda encrypted instruction book. Hitachi’s new DZH500A camcorder, allow users to edit videos on their hard drives and copy the videos directly to DVDs. In general, they introduce a whole new way of working with video, one that reduces the intermediate step of transferring video to a computer. Coming to the downward side, the flexibility of this camcorder is jaw-dropping. Fact of the matter is you can record either a standard TV-shaped image  or in widescreen. You can record video or still photos in number of combinations onto hard drive, DVD or SD memory card.

Leica Digilux 3

LeicaThe Leica Digilux 3 looks very similar to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1, and the reason for that is they were jointly developed by Leica and Panasonic, but the use different approaches regarding image processing. It has 7.5 megapixel, with a Four Thirds lens mount and a Leica D Vario Elmarit 14-50mm/f2.8-3.5 lens.
